Graduate Training & Certification Program

If you have successfully completed STOTT PILATES* Intensive or Comprehensive courses and want to expand your repertoire of skills to challenge the fittest of clients, you are encouraged to work towards Level Two STOTT PILATES Certification by completing the relevant Advanced Repertoire courses.


GENERAL COURSE OBJECTIVES

How to apply STOTT PILATES biomechanical principles of core stability, peripheral mobility, breathing and alignment to therapeutic conditioning
Integration of core stability and peripheral mobility training for injury prevention and rehabilitation
Exercise essence, muscular initiation and movement sequencing
Modifications for specific body types, postural issues, injuries and conditions
Effective communication, visual skills, verbal cueing and imagery for performance enhancement and motivation


ADVANCED COURSES

Advanced Matwork* [AM]

Breakdown of 10 advanced level Matwork exercises

PREREQUISITES: IMP or CMR

DURATION: 6 hours instruction
conducted over one day

CECs: .6 ACE

Advanced Reformer [AR]

Breakdown of 35 advanced level Reformer exercises

PREREQUISITES: IR or CMR and AM

DURATION: 18 hours instruction
conducted over three days

CECs: 1.8 ACE

Advanced Cadillac, Chair & Barrels [ACCB]

Breakdown of 47 advanced level Cadillac, Chair and Barrel exercises

PREREQUISITES: ICCB or CCCB

DURATION: 12 hours instruction conducted over two days

CECs: 1.2 ACE


PREREQUISITES

Our original and most thorough certification program, the STOTT PILATES Comprehensive Program is designed for those with some movement training and exposure to pilates. Comprehensive courses provide the functional anatomy education and practical skills required to develop effective and motivating mat- and equipment-based fitness and post-rehab programs.

Review and practice teaching may be completed between instructed sessions at the STOTT PILATES facility closest to you. Additional training may be required to prepare for certification.
