Inject fun and bounce into your routine with this energetic workout. This is a total body workout that is fat-burning and core strengthening, all in one. The use of small personal trampolines allows us to get our hearts pumping without shock or stress on the spine. With its focus on posture and form throughout, CARDIOLATES strengthens every cell of your body in its optimal alignment. It challenges and ultimately strengthens the deeps, stabilizing, involuntary postural muscles which control balance and augment core strength.
The CARDIOLATES warm-up consists of core-activating Pilates exercises so that the abdominal muscles are activated and ready to stabilize the body while rebounding. CARDIOLATES focuses on the maintenance of proper posture and an emphasis on joint alignment, allowing the muscles of the front and back of the body to balance. The CARDIOLATES stretching sequence at the end of each workout will allow the muscles which work the most during the workout to relax and lengthen to safeguard against common issues that occur from overuse.
Because rebounding combines the forces of acceleration, deceleration and gravity, every cell of the body is stimulated and strengthened at the bottom of the bounce. Your body receives roughly double the gravitational force at the bottom of the bounce, and up to 3-4 times the force if you're jumping high. Yet, because the mat absorbs 87% of the shock, rebounding does not have the negative jarring impact on the joints. NASA has used rebounding for years to condition astronauts before and after space travel, and their studies show rebounding to be 68% more efficient than running. Rebounding also fortifies the immune system, increases balances & agility, improves endurance & cardiovascular health and strengthens the core & pelvic floor muscles
