STOTT PILATES® continuing education workshops

Designed for Pilates instructors and fitness professionals, all introductory and continuing education workshops qualify for STOTT PILATES CECs and many are eligible for credits elsewhere. Lengths vary from 90 minutes to six hours. All exercise-based workshops incorporate the STOTT PILATES Five Basic Principles along with cueing and correcting tips for teaching technique.

STOTT PILATES Matwork workshops cover select exercises ranging from Rehabilitation to Advanced-level material. Many incorporate light resistance and balance equipment and show progressions to increase intensity. Some focus on specificity of exercise technique while others discuss applications and modifications for special populations or specific markets.

Equipment-based workshops focus on exercises performed on larger equipment including the
STOTT PILATES Reformer, Cadillac, Stability Chair and Barrels. Selected exercises are covered
discussing application to all levels and special needs. Programming for individuals and groups is emphasized.

Designed to accelerate your practical skills, lecture-style workshops help you learn the theory behind the practice of Pilates. Exam Preparation, Anatomy and Postural Analysis are just a few of the seminars we offer.

Continuing Education Requirements
