Plie for Pink raised over $3,600 for Shades of Pink!

Our Xtend Barre class on Saturday, October 24th, was packed with strong women supporting the Shades of Pink Foundation and promoting self-exams for women of all ages! This Plie for Pink group brought lots of energy, smiles and generous donations. Collectively, with the match of owner, Nancy Hodari, we raised over $3,600! In a message to the clients before the class, Nancy expressed why she picked Shades of Pink as the recipient for these contributions.

Plie for Pink! Please join us for this very special class supporting the prevention and early detection of Breast Cancer in young women. Xtend Barre and Pilates instructor, Jessie Hodari, will be teaching this class in honor of a very dear friend of hers and hopes that other #Aliwarriors will join her.

Two Month Challenger Update…Congrats Tasha!

Congratulations to Tasha Lord, our Summer Challenger, on completing 37 classes in the first two months!

"This last month has been chock full of typical real life hurdles, and I'm excited to say I have been able to stick to my workouts thanks in large part to the amazing reformer classes at equilibrium!  With the traveling I do this time of year with my gig schedule things get crazy with my routine-add a surgery and 3 weeks of bronchitis-oh my! At about 40% lung capacity I couldn't do any high impact or high cardio training.

As a Holistic Health Coach, I have become increasingly familiar with the new health and fitness mantra, “STRONG is the new skinny.” Recently, this statement has been posted on many health pages, written about in many articles, and seen in many fitness studios and gyms.
