“Pilates an Effective Exercise, especially if you’re pregnant”

We love seeing our pregnant clients staying healthy and safe during their pregnancy so when we came across this article recently, we were so thrilled with what this instructor is saying!

"One question I get asked all the time by women who are pregnant: “Is Pilates safe to do?”

And my response is: YES! During pregnancy it is important to exercise regularly and most importantly, safely. As long as there’s no medical reason why you shouldn’t be exercising, then Pilates is one of the safest and most effective forms of exercise you could possibly do while you’re pregnant, and also after you give birth to your baby."

She talks about working with her client, a doctor during her most recent pregnancy and here she compares how this women felt during 2 prior pregnancies without pilates. She says “I did not do Pilates during my first two pregnancies. I am amazed at the difference in my body with Pilates during this pregnancy. I feel stronger, healthier and have more energy than my other pregnancies."
